The Bern Watts 2.0 Mips helmet is an update on one of their best-selling models, still with its stylish peak. It now uses hybrid construction, a Mips safety system, and a Ribtech foam liner creating a lighter helmet with increased protection. It’s multi-season certified for snow, skate and cycle use. Construction Dual Shell Integration (DSI) combines a Zipmold+ liner fused to a PVC outer shell on the lower section of the helmet and a traditional ABS hard-shell upper. This results in a helmet that is tough and durable in the areas where needed, but with a reduction in overall weight. The internal liner is made from EPS foam. Ventilation There are 11 fixed vents. Air can enter through the front, internal channels in the liner enable it to flow through, and warm, stale air can escape out the back vents.
