POC Obex BC MIPS Helmet – Hydrogen White/Fluorescent Orange Avip – XL

POC has taken one of their best-selling snowboard helmets and added additional features for the backcountry, creating the Obex BC MIPS. Hybrid construction combines a polycarbonate shell with an ABS top section for the perfect blend of strength to weight, and the EPS foam liner is designed to absorb impacts. Internal Aramid panels improve the structural strength and provide greater penetration protection while MIPS technology has been incorporated to reduce the forces from rotational impacts. The in-built TwICEme chip enables users to upload medical and contact information which can be accessed quickly in an emergency via a smartphone. For comfort, the 360° adjustment system gives a secure fit at the twist of a dial, and active venting allows airflow to be adjusted by sliding open/closed the vents using the button on top.
