POC Obex BC MIPS Helmet – Prismane Red Matte – XL

The POC Obex BC Mips helmet is made for freeride and backcountry use with lots of top-end safety features. Mips is designed to reduce energy on the brain from angled impact, and Aramid Bridges increase the structural strength. There is an NFC chip for loading emergency medical data, and an integrated RECCO reflector. Construction The hybrid shell combines a Polycarbonate in-mould lower section with an ABS hard-shell top, creating a helmet that is lightweight with durability and strength where needed most. Internally there is an EPS impact-absorbing foam liner. Ventilation Active ventilation can be adjusted with the slide of a button to control airflow and temperature. Chimney vents under the brim allow hot air to escape from the top of the goggles and through the helmet, improving anti-fog performance.
